80,000+ ActiveRain RSS Feeds Busted

It's been more than 7 months since ActiveRain's RSS feeds have validated.

I wrote about this problem here, and here earlier this year, but the feeds remain unusable.

Unfortunate for ActiveRain users, most publishing, indexing, and syndication platforms requires valid XML or they can't parse the content. I suspect many AR members are losing exposure opportunities on portals and other Web 2.0 services that index or syndicate feeds. I also have a hunch that some search engines bypass invalid XML documents.
